whatever it takes, i know i can make it through.

so the rest of the day happened. i missed the superbowl which means i missed the following:

  • christina aguillera messed up the national anthem
  •  the steelers lost (boooo)
  • superbowl commercials (which i guess i did want to see, but i haven't heard of any amazing ones worth repeating so far...)
  • the black eye peas sucked (duh...) during the halftime show
so why did i miss the superbowl and all of that stuff? well, like i said earlier, i had homework. i worked for a few hours on my english homework/coursework. i finished this module and i believe i did a good job! all a's on quizzes that mattered, a b on an extra credit quiz, and i am proud of the work i have submitted regarding the book we just read. if you want a good read, i recommend it. its rather sad, but interesting, and not very long. its called "hecuba". check it out.

after english, i attempted to get into my history coursework that i need to get done for this module so i can move onto the next. its not that its hard, its just that, for some reason i'm having a difficult time understanding the way things were written in the 1600's. its really frustrating and makes me feel quite inferior to others my age. it's an awful feeling, the feeling of having to struggle through something, while others catch on so easily. maybe if i keep reading and studying, it will become easier. we will see, i suppose.

anyway, when i wasn't working on school work, i was watching degrassi and making apple pie. yeah, i made another "mess pie", becky and mike. if you read this that is. (i know you do, becky). it turned out rather yummy. bud loved it, thats all that matters i suppose.

i should really be sleeping since i have work in the morning, but i wanted to make sure to write this blog. this week i have to make up katie's bridal shower invites, i need to assemble and mail them out. i need to get caught up on history, i need to get better (i still feel like crap... i think i may go to the doctor tomorrow. we will see...), need to start my new bible reading plan, start looking into my next english assignment, write in my baby blog... (still no baby in my tummy, if you're keeping track), and hopefully start my workout/diet regime. well, i guess thats all. i should really get to sleep. but i thought i'd leave you with a picture - i'm really enjoying adding pictures to my blogs. i think it makes them a little more interesting. i'm sorry the past few days have been somewhat scattered and boring. i hope to write something more than a list of what i did during the day soon. i just need to start opening up more i guess.

whoa, old school picture of me. maybe i should go back to the dark hair look? what do you think.

that is all. now i sleep. love to you all.

need help with history? i happen to be marrying a history expert! :-D

Julie! Haha... I might take you up on that offer. This class is completely self-paced and I need to start getting caught up. I have to answer the question "if i were to visit colonial America, would I conclude that people were there to make money or to practice freedom of religion?" so I'm reading a lot articles out of a bibliobase created by my prof and yeeeeah. So far I'm going over Virginia state laws fr 1660-1682 but then over: penn's letter to the indians, a Quaker confronts slavery, and a way to wealth. (chapters in the bibliobase). Lol! Sounds fun, eh? Love you!
